Brazil SW May, 1977: Bishop Ivo Lorsheider, Secretary General of the National Conference of the Bishops of Brazil (CNBB) invites Fr David Regan to act as a full time consultant to that body for 6 years. United Kingdom May, 1989: The parish of St Matthew on the island of Jersey is confided to the Spiritans so as to form a community base for work with the Portu-guese community. The Portuguese parish, which will cover the whole island, will be called "Our Lady of Fatima".
